About

Not many people know about Shingles until it actually effects them. Each case is different and mine attacked the left side of my back. At first I did not know what it was. It felt like a slow intense pain in my back and I thought it was back pain, then the rash showed up and that is when I went to my Doctor.

Gratefully my Doctor knew what it was as soon as I took off my shirt and he saw the the rash and blisters. He prescribed some painkillers (oxycoten) and some cream to help with the rash and blisters.

If you have not dealt with Shingles personally or with someone you know then it may be the first time you have learned about. There is now a Shingles vaccine and it is recommended that you get it to help prevent the virus from activating.

The website will get updated with information as needed and I hope to supply the information that anyone who arrives here is looking for. You can use the Contact Page to ask any questions or make the site better.
